On Friday,
Lyric Morrissey 10, and her cousin Elizabeth Collins were on an afternoon bike
ride and never returned home. Volunteer search groups have been called off and
the FBI has been called to investigate. The public has combed the lakes, fields
and nearby creeks and the only thing was found was Lyric and Elizabeth’s bikes.
The
Morrissey and Collins families need the public’s help to locate their
daughters. Below is the missing persons flyer that is online and in circulation
in Iowa and surrounding areas:
If you
have any information on the whereabouts of 10 year old Lyric Cook-Morrissey and
8 year old Elizabeth Collins, please contact the Evansdale Police Department at
(319) 232-6682 or the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office at (319) 291-2515. A
$15,000 reward is being offered for information they may assist with their safe
return.
We are
pleading for the safe return of little Elizabeth and Lyric. They are only
children and need to be home with the ones who love them dearly.
