The search at the Butterfield Landfill (the biggest landfill in Arizona) has began as of 7am this morning. Police have created a forensic team consisting of HAZMAT response team, FBI agents, Child Abduction Response Team, detectives, medical helicopters, paramedics, fire department and sworn officers to perform the landfill search. They will be working in eight hour shifts and in teams of 12 to clear and sift through the trash. This landfill is 20 feet deep and has more than 6,000 tons of garbage. This is definitely a large task. The Glendale Police Department has not released the forensic evidence found in the apartment where Jhessye lived. However, Jerice Hunter (Jhessye's Mother) is still the key person of interest in the case.
